the "splined nut behind the hand gard" is simply a handguard nut, like used on a Larue freefloating railed handguard 216.23.214.70/lt/handguards.html i have no idea where to find that exact sling adapter/mount plate, there are quite a few different designs though |

Thanks, I actually found both items after I posted this question. hinking.gif
I have been looking for two days but there is so much to look at that I missed it. It is the 7.0 LaRue hand gaurd. and I found the sling on another site as well. I appreciate the link. |

There is not enough picture there to tell what length it is. LaRue handguards come in 7", 9", 12" and 13.2" It could be any of those. |
