One of our members by the name of ROMEO so generously donated three 30 round magazines for my first AR 15.

A few weeks ago i started a thread about what magazine i should buy. Romeo stepped up and donated three to get me started. A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO ROMEO.

Now it is my turn to keep the good karma going.

Ive only been using this forum for around a month now and I have to say that I have learned more from you guys, in reading your posts and replies... than i could have by asking my friends. You are all a wealth of knowledge... Thanks..

I come here everyday.. and will continue....

Now if I can only figure out how to post a photo of my new build ( and those magazines from romeo! )

Later everyone

I would say, "Run away", but alas, I see it's too late...

All I can say is welcome to the disease, and "GET BOTH!!!"

Short Barreled Rifle

ETA: Oops too late.......Yeah any barrel shorter than 16"

You can purchase the Short Barreled upper, but you cant "play" with it unless you have a lower that is registered as an SBR, wich requires a $200 tax stamp to the ATF and a little bit of "rigamarole"

now, if my rifle is shorter than 16", dont i have to have that registered?

A big +1 from me on this!

I shot somoene's registered full-auto with a suppressor, and now I want a SBR with a suppressor and I find myself doing everything I possibly can to save up for it.  I would like to purchase a M16 registered lower, but those prices are WAY out of control.

No shit. I thought i was reading em wrong... especially when i saw that the prices were over twelve thousand dollars.... Holy shit.

My first taste came from gunz4me and several other LA arfcom'rs graciously letting me send a few downrange with their weapons, now I'm hooked and working every bit of extra duty I can get so I can buy my very own.

I'm just stuck on stag M4 or cmmg 16" middy... I will also take donations ;)
