I just got a PD trade in AR and there was carbon build up on barrel under FSB. Obviously there is a leak somewhere. I have never seen this before to this degree.

not normal but is.



there probably was a leak where the gas tube mates to the fsb but the carbon seals it up and problem gone. nothing to worry about or panic over.

No worries. The gun shoots fine. Just never noticed it before.

Common. Mine does, but operates just fine.
