Is that being fired with a normal round?

I highly doubt it, but it would have been nice if they stated so in the video.  I'm curious if it uses a standard blank round, or if it uses some altogether new round.

It looks very promising, and will hopefully be employed to save our trooper's lives.

Can you imagine Johnny Akbar opening his door just in time to catch that in the chest?

Tag, I need to hear this with sound.

Does it have a warhead or is it a kinetic round.

They stated "warhead" but it looks like a kinetic round.

I wondered about the blank vs. normal ammo too.  I can already see problems if it takes a blank.
Given how long it is, maybe it captures the bullet.  That would be cool.

Taking one of these in the chest, talk about a bad day.

they said the normal door busting round was explosive
the kenetic rounds were just training rounds
an it would obviously have to be fired with a blank.
didnt they make some other kind of grenade type round i think back in the vietnam erra that worked exactly the same way??

I saw on mailcall once a gernade that was fired from a garand with a blank.

Its a good idea

It is fired with a normal round, the GREM traps the bullet.
