Unless I am mistaken, the only difference between a 4 or a 6 is the number of holes in the receiver extension, when it comes to M4 & older type carbine stocks.

If the stock is Colt or any other mfr. of mil-spec stocks, it won't fit.
well, you could make it fit, but I don't think you'll like the results...

if they are both colt or "mil-spec" tubes then they will work but with the old car style stock body on the 6pos tube fully collapse the tube will extend past the stock body.

With the nonspec stocks, its sometimes hard to tell. Most will, whilesome will be tight, and others will be pretty loose. In general, its easiest to just get the entire unit together as there isn't much cost difference. |
