Here is what I have just in case there is info there that will help answer my question.

Well Im about to do my first zeroing EVER and I've been reading, FM 3-22.9, TM9-1005-319-10 and  Colonel Chuck Santose's "improved xeroing" manual but I still have some questions.

The zeroing on 300 seems simple enough but Im confused with some stuff on Colonel  Santose's "improved xeroing" manual

I have 1/2 clicks on my rifle's elevation so I was able to adjust it so that its -4 clicks below 6/3 as he states I should.

But then he askes "Battlesight the rifle per the -10" -- what does -10 mean?

Any other recommendations/advise on zeroing my rifle would be gratly appreciated.

Thx in advance ...

-10 is the militaries way of identifying operators manuals. Any manual with -10 at the end signifies that particular piece of equipments Operators Manual.

All Col. Santose is telling you is to zero IAW the -10 M16 Operators Manual
