Hey Folks,
I'm a noobie here and just purchased my first AR-15. It's a Wilson Combat Urban Tactical with the 18 barrel, no open sights, Leupold  Vari X II 4-12,  (2) 30 RD mags, hard case, 300 rounds of ammo. Bought it off Craigslist and the guy was about two miles from me It's in excellent condition, I have a copy of his original receipt where he bought it. I believe I got a decent deal but what do you guys think? I gave $1100 for everything.
Some better specs-

Hey Folks,
I'm a noobie here and just purchased my first AR-15. It's a Wilson Combat Urban Tactical with the 18.5 barrel, no open sights, Leupold  Vari X II 4-12,  (2) 30 RD mags, hard case, 300 rounds of ammo. Bought it off Craigslist and the guy was about two miles from me It's in excellent condition, I have a copy of his original receipt where he bought it. $1100 for a high-quality AR (which Wilson definitely is), a Leupold scope and some mags and ammo is a GREAT deal!   (Especially since the Wilson Combat rifles tend to be very overpriced)

Definitely post pics to make us all jealous of your sweet deal.    - plus, I've never even seen an 18.5 Wilson Combat model, so I'm interested in seeing it jsut for that reason.

if it is as you describe that should be a killer deal, that rifle sold new for MUCH more than that...

First you make us jealous by telling us about how you stole a nice wilson AR.  Then you don't put pics up.  What kinda person are you?  Just kidding, great buy and step to it with the pics.

Seems like a good deal from your descriptions.

Congrats.

Just make sure it's not a Vulcan/ Hesse.

I did an edit on the barrel length, actually 18". This one was built in April 2000 according to Larry at Wilson Combat and at that time they were using PWS lowers. I'll get some pics up!

Wilson Combat and Wilson Arms are two totally different companies

Wilson Combat: High end 1911's and over priced ARs (you got a steal)
Wilson Arms: Mid-grade barrels for ARs. Accurate, but limited chrome lined options and only heavy barrels.
