I have a Colt 6933 (11.5" barrel) on order, and I'm wondering how it would change the POI if I shoot with a 5" flash suppressor vs. the standard A2.
ETA: This is the flash suppressor I'm thinking of.

NO, POI change will be neglible.
FWIW though, unless your planning on using this 11.5" barreld upper on a SBR lower, (which you did not mention in your post) the 11.5" barreled upper will be illegal with the standard A2 and your 5.5" FS choice above will have to be permanently mounted in order to make it LEGAL. Mike |

It is a complete 6933 and the entire rifle will be an SBR and will be registered as such.

If you are going with the SBR, why not go with the 4.5" version?

OK, whatever, the point isn't the specific product, the question is will it have an affect on the POI when using the longer FS vs. the A2?

Ok, whatever, yes, you can expect a shift in POI when you change any muzzle device.  ETA- IM sent for clarifcation. |

Ok, whatever, and +1. Any time you swap a muzzle device the barrel harmonics and gas pressures at the end of the barrel may change, which may cause a POI change. The only way to determine the extent is live fire. |

Whats the point of spending 200 bucks to reg a SBR and then put on a monster FH that brings it back to 16.5...
