Hey everyone. I love the forum, tons of good info and friendly people that I can tell. I recently bought my first AR which is an Armalite. I have about 500 flawless rounds through it and it is absolutleyl the most fun I have ever had shooting a firearm. I know. I have done some lurking here and I see it is a sin to post your first post without showing some pics so here they are. I took a little hint from some of the previous pics and noticed you have to do a little "artsy fartsy" photography too.

Also, I am looking for a good middle of the road CQB red dot type scope. Any suggestions?

What is middle of the road to you ?
I'd suggest watch the EE for a used EoTech or Aimpoint.....with a BUIS
if that's a bit much, I'd suggest one of the SPOT red dots, new they go for 150.

Welcome to the site and good job on the new gun!

That's a cool new Armalite. If you got it right out of the box like that, I think thats a new exclusive configuration they are making for Ellet Brothers, an Armalite Distributor. I liked it as well. It's not often you see a flat top Armalite with a fixed front sight, I like the rail covers too, I think they are made by MI.

Oh, and PS, for a good middle of the road red dot, look for a older and used Aimpoint or EoTech. You should be able to find them around the $200 mark or so. Excellent optics, and for the price the used older models are selling for, they're hard to beat!

Nice collection you got started.
I have the Eo on my M4 right now.Looking to pick up an Aimpoint.Can`t realy comment on the Aimpoint, but I realy like my Eo 552
And welcome to the BRD.And it`s only going to get worse.

Thanks for the compliments guys. After the AR I would have to say the favorite is the HK. Really nice firing .45

As for the scope, I was thinking the EOTedch as well so it's good to hear you guys echo the same idea.

Finally, yes. I bought it right out of the box as you see it. The handgaurd is actually an Armalite rail as well. Has their name printed on it and you can buy it from their catalog. I did a little research before buying but I guess I would ask how the rest like their Armalites?

Nice rifle and welcom aboard... I like your set-up and would recommend that you give the Aimpoint and EOTech a try.. I had both until I recently sold my EOtech 551. I just prefer the M2 but to each theri own. Congrats!

I have two Armalites and my GF has another. We love all three!!!

My SPR was built off a M15 A4

My .308 was built off an AR10 A4

new-argirl's customized AR10c A4

On the red dots, you should try Aimpoint. I have 4 of them, I love them.
