The camera is just a cheap point and shoot canon A75 and the back ground is just white foam board.

As far as the grips, they're ebony wood grips from hogue.  I have them on that 1911 and on my carry 1911.

Great pics! I have a Canon A60, and it's great! the glass is quality and I've dropped it a bunch of times, still works.  What lighting did you use?

Just pick your shots wisely and you'll have good results

yep, using photoshop to adjust the balance, brightness and saturation.  

It's a necessary evil when using a point and shoot camera.

ah, thanks mang. Nice thing about that heavy SOB is that when I have to make water crossings it's heavy enough that it'll sink straight to the bottom and get traction Don't ask me how I found this out
