I've got a new Colt SP-1 upper that I'd like to make into a retro Vietnam style AR.  The original Colt finish doesn't match my non-Colt lower receiver.  I'd like to get the lower receiver refinished.  Does anyone out there duplicate the original style Colt gray finish?  Thanks!

Try www.molyresin.com. I had my M16A1 clone lower done there. The upper I got from CDNN. The refinished lower is a perfect match to my Colt M16A1 upper. HTH

Just Duracoat the whole thing.  They sell a color called Colt Gray.

I have one hanging in the garage right now drying.

Another vote for molyresin. It's real easy to use and looks great!
