Good upper but they normally dont choose the best quality accessories to use. You can get one built, with better parts, for the same money. Look at some of the uppers built by places like MSTN in the industry section. they are as pricey as the Wilson, but I would rate them a few steps above the Wilsons, made with better parts, and absolutely among the very best uppers you can put on a gun. We have a few and they are not only some of the best shooting guns we have, they are the best looking guns as well.

Depends what "best" means to you.
What do you need/require? If you want the most accurate upper, then you'll probably want to have one built, with a custom barrel. If you want the most rugged functional upper, a C7-type upper might work. If you want a general all-around upper, maybe look at Bravo Co. or LMT uppers, with a flat-top. So it really depends on what you want. As a gereral rule, the Wilson AR products seem to be very over-priced to me, but I don't have any personal experience with them. |

I Guess what I really wanted to know was are they good for tactical use,
I want a short, acurate, (1MOA) and reliable Tactical rifle. I plan on mounting an Aimpoint sight, and a vortex flash hider. for under 1000 it seems like a good deal, any imput is great, but I would like to hear from someone who has a wilson and used it alot. thanks J |

I think you may find a better buy in having something custom built to do exactly what you want. You will stay in roughly the same price rang, but will be able to select what is going to work best for you.
If you decide to get it, you may want to skip the rail system they use, and opt for a higher end one. |

Wilson pistols are incredible. The AR products look a bit pricey -- never had an experience with them. But their pistol products are absolute top notch.
