Not sure about the LE pricing...probably will be tough finding any 6920s retail right now.  There have been a few floating around on the EE lately; but have been fetching ridiculous prices: $1400-$1500.  I have bought 2 in the last 6 months, one on the EE, one locally.  Paid $1100 for one $1200 for the other.

The 6721s are  a little cheaper - $1100-$1200, and are still available at a few places.  Check Specialized Armament Warehouse (SAW), Kneseck Guns, Webarms, Cal's Armory, or Clyde Armory.  Have not dealt with any except SAW, but they all stock Colts.

If you're not opposed to buying a NIB 6920/6721 through a private sale, check the EE or Sturmgewehr.

liles1977 pretty much covered it

I have been sitting on another Colt in my safe for a while, but fear the wrath of the purist if I dare ask market price for it.

Do you mean Colt Defense, or Colt Manunfacturing?  Did Colt Defense finally decide to drop their lame corp. policy of not selling their products to the general public? Had not heard anything reliable about that myself.  Would be nice for prices.

Is Colt still doing LE pricing?

I was hoping someone here would know.  Last time I bought one directly from Colt was 1998.

Just FYI- They are on Backorder, and Colt is not doing any shipping until the end of summer.  I was told the same thing from another large LE distributor as well.  I'm sure there are other dealers that have them, but your going to be paying around $1300 I have had my order in since the beginning of the month, and I think am getting ready to cancel it to order an RRA.  Dont want to wait that long.  Good luck

I'm hoping that now with S&W making AR's Colt will see the light and start pumping out preban configured AR's in all the models.
