I just cut it off. It's sooo much faster and easier. Take a dremel and cut through the delta ring on both sides of the receiver. Take a screw driver and twist on the open slot.

then u just take off the spiring and clip also? |

yep. plus when you plan on doing a new build why would you put a delta ring on it anyway? Much better and cheaper to start off with a free float tube

yeah, i ibought the upper used, so it was already assembled...but thats what i'll do next time
