Got my new RRA varmint with 24" barrel and 1:8 twist. Sweet!
Manufacturing quality look awesome, and everything is tight fit. Tomorrow I'll be getting the scope and Saturday is range time  Hopefully it'll be as much accurate as my DPMS Panter.
Ahh, almost forgot. I bought it from ADCO and Steve has been great in answering questions and really prompt in shipping.

Nice AR.  I have the exact same one!!!

I still can't believe RRA hasn't properly manufactured M4 feedramps!!!  That is my only gripe about my Varmint A4.

Awesome! Looks great. I am waiting on my 20" RRA I ordered from Pete at Legal-Transfers. Should be any time.

I was going to replace the trigger with a Jard I kept when I sold my previous rifle, but I noticed that the one that comes with the RRA feels pretty decent.
So I think I'll wait to see how it goes at the range before making the swap.

Today I spent about 2 hours at the range to sight and break it in. After a first WTF due to a lose scope mount, the rifle has been super accurate and consistent.
It has been able to drive my reloads with the Hornady 68gr SST (1.05" long) w/out any problems, and has been really accurate even in driving the 55gr IMI surplus. Overall very good buy.
I suspect this rig will be following me at the range many times from now on

Those rifles with >20" barrels are a lot heavier than their 20" counterparts.

Is not that much of a difference, for this kind of rifles. From the moment you pick a barrel with >0.9" muzzle diameter, you basically give up any confortale carrying wish
