Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How to ID a original XM16 all chrome FA notched bolt carried ?

help ID a carrier , it has no markings on it whatsoever , it is all Chromed , and has a larger dia. firing pin retaining hole on the right ,  like a Colt ,  it has the "square key screw stake marks" , and is a more glosy chrome than a DPMS ,it is also notched for forward assist  does this sound like the real deal ?

Sounds real to me.  Only other two clues I can think of is that the bolts that hold the keys on are blued, not chrome.  And if an early one, it will have a round carrier key rather then half round.
