Anyone use one of these? I've been looking for reviews, haven't seen much. I'd be using this on a suppressed 14.5" SBR. Are they worth the 90 bucks or so?

thanks.

I think so.  I use it on my 11.5" SBR.  It seems to keep a lot of splatter from hitting me in my face.

I've ran them on 14.5", 10.5", 16", and 7.5" 5.56 rifles, and 12" 6.8 rifles. Suppressed and unsuppressed, it helps out a lot.

It's also damn beefy, which is why I use one.

$90?  I would say not worth it.

You can buy a tube of RTV for $5 at the autoparts store.  you can seal your standard charging handle.  1  tube does about 75 charging handles.   works like a charm.

it also channels gas out to the side and it's sturdy

I use one in pretty much all mine -- even issue ones.

I like the fact they are a beefier setup - its easier to knife edge the cocking/charging handle with your left hand - with the issue one they tend to bind.

Jolly Roger IFF IR patch? You homo! Where'd you find that at?

How's that overseas gig working out for ya?

Cap'n  -- okay -- some morons - some DoS BS -- but it is bearable so far...

Supply Capn had the patches so our ERT team adopted it.

Simon -- a basicload modified 6004 - and a CQC G19 holster (work and play holsters)

Good to hear, I need to keep in touch with friends a little better than I have been lately...

When you get back stateside we need to hook up. I'll trade you a Capco IFF (Skull/Crossbones or BlackBeard "Revenge" flag) and a neat flashlight upgrade for one of those JR ones.
