Ive been posting on here for months now about my rifle's inability to fire anything other than Federal and BH. Always short strokes and/or jams with anything else.

I just noticed  something disturbing. I had chambered a round a few days ago, I didnt fire it and emptied it out of the chamber.

When I went to put the round back into the mag I noticed a small dimple in the middle of the primer! Apparently the firing pin had impacted the primer, but not enough to fire it. Any comments and/or suggestions? Looks to me like my problem may be improper headspace.

This is perfectly normal. Every AR does this, nothing to worry about.

This has been asked many many times.
Here
And here

You can look at those for the conclusive results that yes its normal.
