I was looking at some add for the Keltec SU16 pistol, 5.56, with advertised 2600 fps muzzle velocity with 9.2 inch barrel using 55 grain M193 ball.  I thought the number might have been inflated, but it jives with ammo-oracle.  So, if these pistols cannot get a 5.56mm round to the magic 2700 fps for reliable fragmentation, how many people consider these actually tools?

I am sure good shot placement makes these weapons as deadly as any other, but without that critical shot placement the chances of incapacitation are lessened.  I wonder if anyone has any info on 5.45x39 ballistics in an AKSU.

The OA93 is pretty damn cool, though.

We might be biased (or don't care) but you can check the PISTOL section on this board.
