Why even mess with a riser???

If you mount your Eotech directly on your Flat Top, add a BUIS and sight in acordingly....., you will have a perfect  "Co-Witness" scenario !!

If you shoot w/both eyes open like you should......., it's without a doubt, "The Perfect Storm!!!"

i've go tthe larue, and i love it!

why? well i wanted the ability to have a QD no aero loss mount for my eotech so that i could remove it and mount a magnified optic if i wanted to do so.

then i talked to the great guys at larue and they clued me into their aimpoint magnifier mount that would mount on the rear of the EOtech riser. Which just opens up more possibilities.

You can do it that way........or the other thing to do is put a riser on and then sight it in with your irons.
Doing it that way with the riser, it doesnt allow so much of the front sight base to show through the glass
of the Eotech. When using the Eotech how ever you sight it in the dot doesnt change, only your eye position.

Some people dont want both front and rear folding sights.

yhm

yhm

larue

yhm riser will not repeat zero, larue will.  BUT if you leave the yhm on and take eothingie off you can pop it back on and it'll be right on 90% of the time.  I switched my risers to yhm only.  great price, make sure to get the forward fasteners tightened.

I have never seen the need for a riser, or fold down front and/or rear sights.

I shoot with both eyes open & do not even see the iron sights when using the Eotech & visa versa!!

I like mine better with the riser, maybe it's just me..... I have tried it both ways and prefer it with!

I've got the LaRue riser. It puts the irons in the lower third of the EoTech, which I like.
