What's a simple, inexpensive BUIS for a flat top? I'm building an M4 forgery, whose primary sight will be a Burris dot sight, but would like to have a BUIS. This will be a range gun, I don't expect to use for anything "serious", but just in case...

By "inexpensive" I mean something < $75 if possible. Does that even exist? All the BUIS I have seen are fancy flip-up thingies that cost quite a bit more than that.

Contact Eagle Firearms and ask them if they have any open box ARMS 40 BUIS left. They sell them for $69 when they have them. You won't beat that.

There are Chicom parts floating around for cheap. I've seen Chicom carry handles for $46, which you could always throw on.

A.R.M.S. makes one that is really good spring loaded stays folded away when not need and quickly up when you do.  I like it alot.  I have the A.RM.S. #40.  Good Luck

If you have an extra Carry Handle, you can chop that down for free.....

That's what I was gonna suggest. Search the E n' E for a CH.

Dang, there are some nice choices there! I'll check out the DPMS and the Yankee Hill ones. I don't have a spare carry handle to chop...

Thanks!

I just changed to a YHM A1 BUIS.  Probably one of the better buys.  It has a low profile adjustment knob that won't accidentally get knocked out of place.
