Your situation is VERY common among many Police Depts.  I can name a half dozen in my neck of the woods, with M16s collecting dust, whose SRTs all use MP5s.  Most every Dept has a bad story of the sub gun being insufficient.

I've been talking to these guys, and some of the reasons they are afraid to switch to SBR M16s, is just crazy funny, its so sad.

The box of truth is nice, but a department isn't going to go with info off a website.  Thankfully the Feds have done testing, as well as many larger departments to prove the diference, and why we need the 5.56.

Regardless of where you get the info from, its available from many differnt sources, and it all leads away from the 9mm (with a few minor exceptions).
