I own a Pre-ban AR-15 lightweight sporter with a 16"barrel.  Etched on the barrel is C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7

Can someone tell me what that means? I know 1/7 is the twist. And is a 1/9 better or worse?

Better or worse for......??
All depends upon the round you're shooting... and that depends upon what it is that you're trying to accomplish.

Are you plinking, hunting, HD, competition?
