Hey all,

I have a NIB PreBan Colt Sporter Lightweight.  It is stock as it came from the factory.  I like it, but I like lots of the AR's you all post pics of too.  I have thought about trading mine and getting one that has all of the tricked out parts.  I know I could buy that stuff and put it on my Colt, but that would cost a ton.

The new S&W that has the upgraded handguard caught my eye.  It looks like it would be a really nice AR to have.  Would it be wise to try and deal for that new S&W?  I know that DPMS, Bushmaster, Oly Arms and Rock River all make great AR's, I just don't know the particulars of each one.  What brand and or model would you advise me to check out?  If you had my AR what would you trade it for if you wanted one that had the upgraded stock, handguards, and other parts?

Any advice you can give would be helpful.
