What is a preban SGW lower running now a days?
I paid $500 for this thing back in the banned days.

I bought a complete preban lower in KY last year for $175.00 from a guy having tax problems.

I wonder what they go for in a banned state?

I'd guess around $300.00-400.00 depending on who it was, considering COLT prebans go for $400.00-500.00.

That's about right.

I'll give you $300 for it if it's complete and in good condition.

I doubt you'll do much better. Us guys in banned states have many more options with pre bans now that the entire nation isn't under a ban and many people are generous enough to do 1-1 trades even. Typically I see trades for 2 new lowers for 1 old one. I have two pre ban EA's and paid 200 for one of them and got the other as a complete M4gery for 600 bucks. Point is that because you spent 500 on it during the ban do not expect to make that money back now.

yeah, for that kind of hit, it makes more sense to just keep it.

Not really, trade it for two complete lowers of another manufacturer and you now have two AR's instead of one, but hey, your call bud.

Anything special need to be done to ship to one of the banned states or with it being preban I can send it normal FFL to FFL?

If it's a rifle you can send it US Mail to his FFL, you don't need an FFL on your end.
