Ok I am new here and looking to buy a quality AR-15. I have narrowed it down to 2. 1) Rock River Arms or 2) Les Baer. Please let me know what your opinions are and what would you do? I am more concerend about reliability and accuracy. Thank You

Ive got a les baer M4 so you know where my vote is. Ive owned several AR's and it is by far the nicest and best shooting Ive ever touched. His guns are top notch and IMO worth every penny. Ive shot a RRA and it was not bad by any means but it just doesnt stand up to the quality of the Baer. The RRA has a 1" MOA garuntee at 100yds while the Baer is 1/2 MOA at the same range out of all of his variations from the varmiter to the M4.

If you know anyone who has one of each check them out and you can judge them for yourself.

Do a search and read what others have said.

Once you've done that, you'll be even more confused.

The RRA is a lot less money and I like their quality.  I have never handled a Les Baer but they have a good reputation on the forum.

Guess it all depends how much money you want to spend for the same general quality and certain other features whose value only you can really determine.

Very easy choice

RockRiverArms

I wouldn't get a $1,700, or 2,000 factory AR15 for my first one. You will learn a ton about them after owning one for a while, and if it then becomes your goal to get a precision shooter like the Les Baer, knock yourself out.

Until then...........save your money. Much better spent elsewhere.

I would choose the RR. I am a Colt guy but Rock River makes a fine rifle.
