I'm buying a used gun.  Here is a photo of what all it comes with.  I want to get the VLTOR adjustable stock.  I was wondering if I need to buy the complete $150 kit or if some of the pieces that I will be getting with this gun can be used with it.  I thought I saw a kit somewhere that didn't include the spring and such.  I am a noob to the AR so acronyms and names of parts don't mean much to me.  Try and keep it simple.  hanks.

you will need the proper parts to go with the collapsable stock.

Thanks a lot.  Didn't realize springs and such were different between them.
