Hello All.  I am ready to enter the addicting AR-15 zone .Put my first order in for a RRA 16" CAR my dealer told me they said it would be 30-40 days. My question is has anybody ordered a new complete rifle lately and how long did it take,i am going crazy it has only been 1 1/2 weeks.

You're not the only one.  I've been waiting on a RRA 9mm Car for what seems like forever.  I already have 1000+ rounds saved up, my LT BUIS, 3 mags and I'm working on getting more.

I always buy my RRA stuff from Eagle Firearms... they usually have something in stock... so I don't wait longer than it takes to get mailed to me...

My RRA CAR A4  took forty BUSINESS days or eight weeks, as you would have it. It was worth the wait. It gave me more time to stock up on ammo and mags for a really fun day at the range.

Order a supressor.  That will make a 30 day wait seem like nothing at all.

Ordered the complete CAR A4 kit early January, still waiting.  Chrome lined barrel is the long lead item for me.

originally ordered the Elite CAR A4 upper from Eagle with flattop and ARMS 40 BUIS....and then placed second order for NM Lower with 6 position stock and hogue pistol grip...but that wait was going to be 6-8 weeks.

So I converted my two orders to get the Elite UTE2 because it allows me to get the medium handguards and not wait two months....and will have room to mount my Aimpoint ML2 on spacer and QR mount for co-witnessing the sights.

Chrome lined Entry Tactical--yesterday was 6 weeks.  Still no word, just waiting patiently.  Or not so patiently, I had to build another one in the meantime...

I know a guy. If RRA has it, I can have it within a day.

Living in IL does have it's perks

I started getting a little jittery. I already had one AR so it wasn't a big deal. One thing 17 months on my Iraq deployment taught me was patience. Some things just aren't important enough to get mad about.

I was damn anxious to get my hands on it though.

That's nothing.

When we did the .458 SOCOM group buy back in '04 it was about 9 months before we got our uppers.
