Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Armalite mag ????

I just saw some mags that had Armalite .223 floorplates but were not waffle mags.  The mags appeared to have an olive color to them.  Guy has a whole box that he found while cleaning up.  Are they real?

Colt's made (or contracted for) two mags in the early 1960's for the AR-15 Model 01.  One was steel and waffle pattern, the other aluminum.  Both were 20 rounders, and marked ARMALITE, and also marked COLT.  Eventually the steel one was dropped, and the ARMALITE name was no longer used on rifles and mags starting in 63/64 or so.
