Does anyone know how much the trajectory changes shooting 55gr and 62 grain ammo through a 1/9 twist 16" Barrel versus a 1/9 twist 11.5" SBR Barrel?  I am looking primarily for drop at 100, 200, 300 and, if possible, 500 yards.

16" 62gr M855 = 2923fps
11.5" 62gr M855 = 2655fps

11.5" 55gr = 2850fps


plug those numbers into you ballistic program of your choice and go..

Try here www.isayeret.com youll be surprised what the israelis have used that legnth barrel for.Its still plenty of rifle for 100yds and under.
