I've came across a Bushmaster XM15 E2S Patrolman's Carbine thats for sale. It belongs to a friend who purchased it while with the PD. He was with the PD for only two years and the AR was hardly ever fired, less than 1000 rounds. Would I have any problems in the future having a LEO marked firearm? He only wants $550 and it's real hard to pass up.

Also, I've been wanting to build a SBR. Would I have problems doing a SBR the LEO marked lower?

You will have no problems.

Buy it already, and don't listen to any pansies who tell you the markings will cause you problems.

In all my years of shooting, I have YET to have any L.E. read any of my lowers.
