I would like to see some pictures of monolithic uppers in a middy configuration if possible but all pictures would be appreciated. What are the advantages of monolithics, I'm thinking of a new build and trying to get ideas is hard today for some reason.

Currently, there aren't many options out there other than LMT.  Within the year, that should change a bit.
