Yes they are legal in most areas (check local laws) but look really stupid on your rifle at the range.
That said, it's a lot of fun to shoot but basically useless. |

I kind of agree..
I think they have a high "FUN FACTOR" but as far as hanging one on your rifle - nope. |

If they arent banned at the state level, yes they are legal as long as you put the right munitions in them.
