I would like to know what benefits I would  gain w/ a 20" barrel vs. a 16".  Other than distance/knock down power.  I am in the process of putting together a varmit gun for coyotes and strays.  I've read through some of your post and you are some serious folks.  I'll take any advice available.  I'm still deciding on which AR to go with.  I had a Colt HBAR and let it go years back... bad mistake.  One of those stories for another day...

 16" light weight is just too handy for general 'yote work. How do you hunt them, sit and call or chase?
