I am really torn between these rifles:
RRA Elite CAR A4 Midlength CL
Colt 6721 LE Carbine
Colt 6920 M4
I really like the RRA because of its features and the price.  However would I be better off with a Colt?  Are the Colts CL?  What are the pros/cons of these rifles(manufacturer, not the AR platform)Which one would you prefer.  I intend to use it primarily as a range gun.

Buy the Rock River.  The gun will do everything you will ever need it to do without paying for a horse on the magwell.  Plus the RRA will have standard size pins in the FCG so if you want to put in a 2 stage or any other match type trigger you will have way more options.

I really like my RRA's, no problems with them at all.

Cheers,

Man you got me sweating with that one... Well here goes...

RRA price is right and like you said, some of their AR's have nice features (except for their bullshit dremeled M4 feed ramps) but.................

Id take a COLT over a RRA any day!!!

What is with RRA dremeling their feed ramps.  That's about the only bitch I have with them.

OK, I'm going to be diplomatic.  Both are great. I had the same choices to make. I did a whole bunch of research. I went with a RRA Tactical Entry. No regrets.  Can't go wrong with either.

I am a big RRA fan. Have several ARs that I built using all RRA parts. I have never had any trouble with any of them. For fit, finish, and $$$ you cant go wrong with RRA.

At what point can we have tacked threads for each manufacturer and people can put all their comments there?

I put a RRA 16" Chrome lined Middy flat top upper on a Colt 9mm marked Lower. So I have both. hahahahaha, and yes it does look like someone dremel'ed the feed ramps.

Colt.

But if the RRA is cheaper, which it normally is then I would have a RRA.

I would get a RRA Lower, a RRA upper, and a Good barrel like Sabre Defence, or Bushmaster...

You'll like it better if you build it yourself...
