So how is this going to cut rebar?
LMT makes this and is slips over the A2 flashider and they advertise it as a rebar cutter?  WTF?

Put rebar or other wire in slot twist slightly and pull the trigger the bullet cuts the wire.  allegedly.

p.s. which cable company you work for, Comcast here.

You align the rebar into the slots and pull the trigger.
Here's the video of it

Why exactly do you need to cut rebar with a .223 rifle...?

Are you guys working Military or LEO special operations? Do you have any experience in breaching? Maybe, just maybe they have a better idea on whats "Logical" or not.

Now that I like!
Are the internals similar to a KFH? (i.e. facilitates flash/blast redirection)
or just soley a cutter?

The same reason the Russians made a flashhider to cut barbed wire with an AK.

I have come through the breech point where the demo didn't completely clear all the wire.  Instead of fishing out the bolt cutters before the main element rushes through, this could technically do the job.  Will you EVER see one of these on a gov weapon, doubt it.

I've also seen rebar left over, uncut after the smoke cleared.

I have one similar to the second picture.  Not because I plan on cutting anything, but because I needed a thread protector.  I don't need a flash hider or comp, but have a threaded barrel.

NO MR  ATF agent   its not an assault weapon      It's a semi-automatic  rebar cutter / master-lock destroyer.
