Mine is a little over 32". But that's with an A2 FH, not sure about the G6 Vortex. 32.25 to be almost exact.

The G6 is advertised as being 2.3"-2.4" long, I don't have my A2 USGI with me, but do you happen to know the length of your FS?

A2 is: 1.75" not including the little washer.

My carbine measures 32 7/8" with Phantom 5C2 which is about the same length as the Vortex.

This is sort of unrelated, but is it easy to install the Phantom 5C2 on a carbine? Is there enough barrel to use on a vise? I plan to use a FFHG which means I cannot use the main part of the barrel in a vise setup.

It's not difficult, but I would use a peel washer instead of the damn crush washer.

Stupid question, but how do I use the peel washer? Just peel until I can torque the flash suppressor?
I have a spare A2 birdcage that I plan to use. |
