I posted a while back looking for a very specific barrel configuration.

16 inch
chrome lined
carbine gas system
1/7 twist
heavy, medium or light weight under the handguards
no cut out for the M203
M4 barrel extension
MP tested (doesnt have to be)

And no one seems to make one, so I am stuck trying to order one. Anyone know who could make a barrel like this? Or carrys one?

CMMG sells a 18" midlength, chrome lined, 1:8 twist medium profile barrel. You can order the stripped version that doesnt have taper pins drilled. Request that the gas port doesnt get drilled (they do that in house). Then have it sent out to be profiled to work as a carbine length gas system, get the gas port drilled, and have it cut down. Yes, it is an expensive option, and the twist isnt the same, but it is as close as I was able to come. These barrels are about 2-3 weeks out. I just orderd one a few days ago.

Does a Colt 6520 barrel not meet these requirements? Or are you looking for a heavier profile forward of the FSB?

or if you could live with a midlength there's dennys operator bbl. just get it turned down under the handguards if its too heavy for you.
