Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt color match?

Does anyone make a Lower that matches the dark grey color of the Colt GI M4/M16 Uppers? My Colt MT Lower matches...., but it's spoken for & I have 2 GI uppers I want to build into MForgery's

Seems like all the other manufacturers Lowers I've tried to match are quite a bit darker in color!!


Any sugestions for a close match??

Find an older Colt if its important to you.

It's not all that important......, but if I can come close in color I'd rather go that way to stay!!

My Stag, DPMS & SNS Lowers  all look Black compared to the Colt GI's


I know...., I know......,  you don't need to say it!!!     ie:   "Black Rifle"
