Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bushmaster upper purchase

Hi guys, I am a newbie.

Though this morning I called up and purchased a Bushmaster a3 14.5" heavy fluted barreled upper half.

I thought id share as I am excited.

Anyone have any opinions or comments about what I have ordered?  Is it a  POS?  Horrible accuracy?  Anything would be great to hear... hopefully positive as I have spent my life savings on it. hinking.gif

I like Bushmaster rifles so I think you did a good thing, of course the Hartford Horsey crowd may take a dump on you for not buying Brand X.

Should be a quality upper, just make sure you have a permanantly attached flash suppressor that's long enough to bring it up to the legal length.

I had a Bushmaster 16” post-ban upper that was the most accurate upper I ever owned.  I sold it for a no-ban upper.  I miss that upper.
