I've searched and I can't find out what this stamp means.  It's a capital letter "Y" stamped on the back side of the rear take down lug right under the bolt carrier.

Actually the Y is Yankee Hill Machine; but they are so closely affiliated with Bushmaster that it usually means the same thing. I am guessing they just finish out the raw forging since there is usually a forge mark in addition to the Y.

I have a Y stamped Bushy A3 upper....

I like the finish quality of it alot..
