Got a RRA 9mm Flat top with an eo tech.  Gonna put a 5" barrell and suppresser on it.  Shooting sub sonic 147gr FMJ.  I figured 50 yrds would be the best but I would like to try 100 yrds.

What do you guys think is best?  Thanks.

Yup. Looks like 75 yards. You'll be about 1.7" high at 50, and 4.3" low at 100 yards.

I used 1000fps as the velocity (didn't look it up, just assumed right at subsonic).

I agree with Shivan but if you want to check out what different zero distances will give you, check out this External Ballistics Calculator and roll your own zero.

Thanks for asking this question - I was just wondering this myself, as I'm getting my new RRA 9mm upper from ADCO today.

87 yards is the only acceptable distance!

Actually, in this particular instance, there is a logical answer to the question so the "87" rule is no applicable. Sorry.

25 yds is all you need and probaly where it will be most effective..anything farther than that upgrade to 5.56.
