Nice Razel!  I notice on your knife the chisel grind is on the reverse side, correct for cutting when held in the right hand.  All the knives on their web page are chisel ground on the obverse side, better for admiring while held in the right hand but not optimal for cutting.  Did you have to special order it that way?

Oh, right.  Gun forum.  A chisel grind is only on one side of the blade, the other side is flat and unground, like a wood chisel.  Like a wood chisel, a chisel ground knife cuts properly with the flat side down.  (Imagine using a wood chisel flat side up.)  Oddly, it's not uncommon for knife makers to put the chisel grind on the obverse/front of the blade where it's more easily admired rather than the reverse/back so it functions better.

Actually rlcanon, the grind is on both sides... like a regular knife... but much thicker tang with a squared (but sharpened) tip.

Btw, thanks for the comments guys... Next up, Bobcat's BW89!

Love it! Plus, got it for a great price at Tannersports ($650). And yes, it cycles very smooth and fast... recoil was very manageable as well. Even my girlfriend (she's about 5'5" 120lbs) was able to fire it today (about 7 times) shooting 2 3/4 magnum slugs.

So you really live in a "free" state now. Good for you. How's the weather there?

Yup, moved to be closer to the family and to buy all the assault weapons I wanted :-)... it's been pretty nice - about 55 in the AM and 80 in the PM.

Yeah, that's a sweet gun as well... almost got that instead. But, for about the same price I picked up the semi-auto version instead.

Regrets? Hell no! :-)
