Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question for those that keep their AR in a Starlight or Pelican.

How do ya'll have you case set up?  I have a Starlight with two layers of foam.  Is it a waste if I just use one layer?  Just trying to figure out whats best before I cut the foam.

I bought my starlight for only one rifle, and thats all I keep in it. I figure someday, I may change my rifles configuration so I will keep the bottom layer of foam uncut for now.
