I don think any buffer will stop the sound,i cant believe you dont like it i shot 250 rounds this morning and it was a blast.

Maybe cote the spring in rubber, hardware stores sells it for coting tool handles.

I had my ar set-up with the m-93 before with carbine spring and h buffer and it wasn't this bad.

You could try to put a 1" piece of shrink tube around the middle of the spring. Shrink it just enough so it holds its self in place. I've never heard of doing this on an AR but I know it helps take the twang out of air guns.

Just put some grease on the spring and little in tube. IT won't rattle any more.

Grease attracts dirt worse than CLP and dont rubber coat it it would eventualy crack and peel from being compressed.After a while the noise goes away when the spring breaks in.Leave it alone and just shoot it.Theses are cures looking for problems.

While I can't speak for how the spring feels for you, I can say that the sound is normal. Trying to get rid of the "sproing" sound is a waste of money IMHO. You'd be better served by spending the money on something that will actually enhance your performance when shooting the rifle.

One finger full of no. 2 grease will shut that spring up. coatr the spring and id opf buffer tube with the grease. if you put to much on do not worry excess gets coatted on the carrier that you just wipe off after firing. Evently this stops and your spring is still quiet.

I hate the sproiiing noise!
Use a Wolff X-tra power spring ($14.99) with the regular rifle buffer (if it is a rifle stock). If a CAR, use an Wolff X-tra power CAR spring and a regular CAR buffer. If it is still unacceptable, change the buffer to a 9mm buffer ($25). Your AR will be a pleasure to shoot. Mine ARe. No sproiiiing noise and it cycles sooooo smoooothly. Reduces recoil impulse.
