Is it true that ARs/AKs that are not on the Kasler v. Lockyer Assault Weapons List are legal to buy in Californis?  It is talked about on  calguns.net  forum section, but I would think that more people wpold be talking about this.  Has anybody heard anything about this?

A lot of people were talking about this here a few weeks ago.  Kind of died off.  Check the CA hometown forum.  As far as I read the law, yes, if you do it right, and they ban whatever you have, you could in theory build a non-neutered AR.  But what do I know?
