Why does Bushy use the 1/9 twist on their barrels when mostly everyone else uses 1/7 twist? Isn't the 1/7 superior?

Bushmaster says "Our experience is that the 1 in 9" twist offers the best results with the widest variety of ammunition." Weather or not 1/7 is better than 1/9 will be argued about here for a long, long time.

I never had a problem with 77gr. from my 1/9 bushmaster. Never tried the Blackhills 5.56 load, but out to 300 yds. this barrel shot very nice with the heavy bullets.
