Here's my first "real" build. I had mated lowers and uppers together before but this is my first real attempt at putting together a rifle to suit my needs:
Began life as a "back-up" to my main prairie doggin' rig. Sometimes, especailly towards the end of the day, you don't really want to set-up all over again and you just wish you had a rig you could sling up and walk the town with a little. That was the insipiration for this rig:
Specs:
Stag lower
WOA Tuned RRA 2-stage trigger
DPMS LPK
ADCO custom upper:
1-9 WOA turned mid-length SS Barrel in SPR contour
Larue low profile gas block
DD 12.0 rail
GGG MAD Rear BUIS
YHM Front BUIS
GGG scout rail
GGG Burnside A2 sling loop
Wilderness tac sling
Weaver Grandslam 1.5-5 x32 in luepold QD rings
The colors on the rear stock match the colors a little better than what the pics show and will hopefully match better once it gets a little dirty...just painted this weekend.
Rifle shoots like a dream, .75MOA all day with BH BB 55gr FMJ. Using BH BB 52gr Match, I have shot several .5's and a few in the .3-.4range--all off a front bipod and rear sand sock.
What do you guys think????
