I'm getting ready to start my second build.  I'm using a cmt/stag upper/lower combo.  I've lately been intersted in the colored receivers and I was curious to who out there does this kind of work.  I'm looking for an OD green job.

I'm not really interested in doing it myself (atleast this time).  Nor do I want to paint them, I'm looking for something a bit more permanent.  Also, how much does this kind of work typically cost.

Thanks.

www.lauerweaponry.com/ offers Duracoat, you can either purchase the kits or have it done by one of their authorized finishers.

Talk to Enforcer22/Larson Tactical.

He is a good guy, supports the board, and has shown time and time again what he is capable of.  You may also wish to talk to him about options other than Dura Coat.

Stickman is correct. Larson is great at what he does. Goes by the board name of enforcer22.

Stickman,

How durable is this kind of coating?  Will it scratch as easily as the normal anodizing?  Does it chip?  I'm asking only a little for my own immediate benefit-and mostly for later reference-it'll be a while before I get the urge to redecorate the hardware!  Many more upgrades needed first!!
