Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - A2 upper to flat top upper

I have a A2 upper with a mid lenght barrle. I want to swap out the A2 with a flat top upper. I would like to also get a carry handle for the new upper so I can still shoot with open sights when the scope is pulled off.  Are there two differant hight detachable carry handles and dose it matter what one I use on my gun.
